We recently handed over a mobile compensation system to Siemens Erlangen. The system operates in the USA and serves as grid stabilization and reactive current compensation. A special feature here is the mobile version. With this feature, the end customer has the opportunity to stabilize the network in particularly polluted areas until other measures have been implemented.
The system consists of the vehicles SVC (compensator), throttle and AUX (control and auxiliary services).
